The aim and objective of computer networks as a course is computer literacy. Information Technology is the frontier hero of the new century, driven by ambition and full of courage, replicating itself like a virus and sweeping all before it. So in order not to be marginalized one needs to get involved as Information Technology influences virtually all the areas of human endeavor.
