VTE414: Vocational Guidance

Vocational Guidance is an important issue in human life as it could affect a person from childhood to maturity. It is the process of helping a client to choose an occupation, prepare for it, enter it and develop in it. Such guidance should be rendered to the student, taking cognizance of his or her personality traits, interests, ability, values and so forth. This is because it will influence his/her lifestyle such as the type of food he/she eats, the type of cloth he/she wears, the type of house he/she lives in, his/her choice of friends and the type of car he/she drives etc.
